Cookie policy

Last updated: June 2026

NMPBX is a telecoms product from Netmatters. This policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on this website. For full detail on how we handle your personal data, please read the Netmatters privacy policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember your preferences, and to understand how a site is used. Cookies can be set by the site you are visiting (first-party) or by another organisation (third-party).

Essential cookies

These are needed for the site to work and are always on:

  • Your cookie choice. When you make a choice in our cookie notice, we store a small first-party cookie (named nmpbx_cookie_consent) so we can remember it and not ask you again. It lasts about six months and holds no personal information.
  • Site security and delivery. Our hosting and form provider may set strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and working, for example to protect our forms from spam and abuse.

Analytics cookies (optional)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site so that we can improve it. These cookies are set only after you choose Accept in our cookie notice. If you choose Reject, or until you make a choice, they are not set.

  • _ga and _ga_<container> are set by Google Analytics to tell visits and visitors apart and to measure how the site is used. They typically last up to two years.

Marketing cookies (optional)

With your consent, we use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure how our LinkedIn advertising performs and to understand conversions. These cookies are set only after you choose Accept, or switch on Marketing in Manage preferences. If you reject them, or until you make a choice, they are not set.

  • The LinkedIn Insight Tag sets cookies such as li_gc, lidc, bcookie, UserMatchHistory and AnalyticsSyncHistory. These are set by LinkedIn as a third party, and their durations range from the end of your session up to around two years.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page, and you can also block or delete cookies in your browser.

Web fonts

We load web fonts from Google Fonts so the site displays correctly. This does not place cookies on your device, but it does involve a request to Google's servers as the fonts are delivered to you.

Forms and enquiries

When you send us an enquiry through a form on this site, your submission is processed by our hosting provider on our behalf so that we can receive it and reply to you. We use the details only to respond to your enquiry.

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can set most browsers to block them. If you block essential cookies, some parts of the site may not work as expected. Your browser's help pages explain how to manage cookies for that browser.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
